The video is a proud story of the people who played football at Leeds Road, and those who supported, were devoted, and remained loyal until 'The Final Whistle'.

'Up in the First'
Town take on the First Division. Season 1995/96 review. Only days after leading Town to victory in the 1995 Division two play-off final, Neil Warnock announced he was leaving the club. The search for his successor began, and new Chairman Geoff Headey appointed former Manchester City boss, Brian Horton. Brian Horton: When I arrived, everyone at the club was on a high - the spirit amongst the players was superb, and first of all, my job was to sustain that feeling. To stabilise and to stay in the division was the main objective, and I think generally people would have been happy if we'd said the first team were going to narrowly miss the play-offs, the reserves were going to get promotion and the juniors were going to finish 3rd. It was the club's highest league position for 24 years - I think that speaks volumes! All in all, I think the 95/96 season was outstanding."

'A Team of Thirty-Five'
Season 1996/97 review. Brian Horton's signing of Andy Morrison, Andy Payton and Marcus Stewart signalled a new era for Huddersfield Town. The 1996/97 campaign started well with five wins out of the first seven games. Top scorer Andy Payton ended the campaign with 19 goals - but Town's defence could not halt a steady decline. It wasn't long before talk of the play-offs turned into worries about relegation. Not until April was first division survival assured. By the end of a turbulent, rollercoaster campaign, the Town manager had been forced to use more players than the club had ever known.

'Huddersfield Town - The Great Escape'
A true story. The 1997/98 campaign. 8 weeks into battle, and the troops known as HTFC were tattered and torn. The man in charge was axed after Notts Forest - his team stranded in a place from where few escape, and many never return. By high command, former captain Peter 'Jacko' Jackson was called-up to lift the flagging fortunes of a once proud army. At his side was Terry 'Taff' Yorath, and together, they plotted 'The Great Escape'. It was a long, hard, bloody winter, but Jacko's allied forces wore their colours with new pride, and no-one was ready to let the chance of freedom slip away. The final escape attempt began with all-out attack at the Britannia Stadium, and ended in a pitched battle on home soil. It was nothing short of heroic, and this film encapsulates the determination, skill and supreme effort of all those involved.
